When I went to Cuba, the flight was 3 1/2 hours or so and it was a direct flight. So I'm thinking DR should be about the same.
How long of a fight is it to travel from Toronto to Punta Canna, DR ?
This is a rather difficult question to answer. The answer will depend on who you fly with and how many connections (if any) you have. Your best bet is to log onto any of the major airlines (Air Canada, American, Continental for example) and act as if you are buying a ticket. When they display the flight information, they show you take off and land times as well as often a "flight duration" time.
This is taken off Air Canada's site:
20:45 to 1:30 (+ 1 day) - therefore it is a flight of 4 hours and 45 minutes approximately for the direct leg of the trip.
