I live in Central Ca and the weather is nice, lows hit about 45 and highs about 73*F. I planted my bulbs about 10 days ago but no signs of green. How long does it usually take to see above ground activity?
How long does it take for Canna bulbs to start sprouting?
Cannas like a lot of moisture and some varieties will even thrive in swampy or submerged conditions. If kept damp, they should sprout when the ground warms up. Be patient. When they finally sprout, they will grow like crazy. They are one of my favorite plants.
